As a Dedicated CDL Driver, you will transport dry van freight on local routes within 50 miles of the station while reporting to the Fleet Manager. This role focuses on safe, compliant route driving and dock-only deliveries. Schedule is Monday-Friday and Day shifts only.
Responsibilities
- Drive assigned local routes and transport dry van freight safely and efficiently.
- Complete vehicle inspections before and after operation.
- Maintain compliance with Hours-of-Service regulations.
- Complete dock-only deliveries and follow delivery procedures.
- Report route, vehicle, and delivery updates to the Fleet Manager.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of commercial truck driving experience.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Current Department of Transportation medical certification.
- Double/Triple endorsement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience conducting pre-trip inspections.
- Familiarity with Electronic Logging Devices.
- Strong time-management skills.
