Are you passionate about aquatics, leadership, and making a splash in your community? Bulldog Swim Academy is looking for a dynamic Deck Manager to join our team and help create a safe, structured, and energetic swim environment for swimmers of all ages!

Position: Deck Manager

Locations:

Orange, CT & New Haven, CT

Schedule:

Part-time | Flexible day, afternoon, evening & weekend hours

What You'll Do

• Supervise deck operations during swim lessons, programs, and events
• Lead, support, and communicate with swim instructors to ensure smooth class transitions and consistent safety protocols
• Serve as a main point of contact for parents, swimmers, and staff during your shift
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and professional pool deck
• Assist with calling classes, organizing lessons, and maintaining program flow
• Conduct daily staff briefings and help keep the team informed and on schedule
• Help ensure Bulldog Swim Academy’s safety and customer-service standards are consistently followed
• Step in as a leader and problem-solver when challenges arise

What We’re Looking For

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Aquatics experience preferred, including head lifeguard, lead swim instructor, coach, childcare, or supervisory experience
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Current Lifeguard certification or willingness to obtain
• Friendly, energetic, dependable, and solution-oriented attitude
• Ability to work effectively with children, families, and staff
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
