This position requires meticulous attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a commitment to maintaining the exceptional quality standards that our customers depend on. You will be responsible for removing burrs, sharp edges, and imperfections from precision-machined parts using various manual and automated deburring techniques.Deburring OperationsPerform manual and automated deburring operations on aerospace components made from various materials including aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, and exotic alloysRemove burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections using hand tools, power tools, files, abrasives, and specialized deburring equipmentOperate and maintain tumbling equipment to achieve specified surface finishes on batches of componentsSelect appropriate deburring methods and tools based on material type, part geometry, and engineering specificationsEnsure all deburred parts meet dimensional tolerances and surface finish requirements as specified in engineering drawingsProcess parts through vibratory tumblers, barrel tumblers, and other mass finishing equipment according to established proceduresQuality InspectionConduct thorough visual and tactile inspections of all deburred components to verify quality standards are metUse precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensional accuracyIdentify and segregate non-conforming parts, documenting
