If this sounds like you, we invite you to read on and learn more.Position SummaryThe Deburr Operator is responsible for deburring complex parts with end mills, sandpaper, and other finishing tools as necessaryPrimary ResponsibilitiesDeburr complex parts with end mills, sandpaper, and other finishing tools as necessaryPerform equipment parts cleaning operationRead blueprints/job orders for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances.Ability to deburr small components to required specifications and tolerancesProperly utilize inspection equipment including micrometers and calipersSort, inspect and hand wash parts when requiredCreate optimal surface finish conditions and remove burrs on components using hard tools and automated equipment per blueprint or verbal instructions.Complies with MMC quality systems, including correctly completing all related documents.Follow all safety guidelines established by the company.Other duties as assigned by management.Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma Preferred1-2 years' experience in the aerospace industry preferredKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesGreat attention to detail and communication skillsWilling to work as a teamExcellent communication skillsStrong multitasking abilityExtremely detail orientedStrong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skillsInterpersonal skills required to interact with internal personnel in Sales, Estimating, Shipping and AdministrationAbility read, sort, check, count and verify numbersMust be able to read and writeMust be dedicated to safetyPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by any employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to use hands to operate machinery in the performance of job duties. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.

Hand eye coordination must be used in high pressure situations along with quick reaction times. Hearing conservation tests are done annually due to the noise levels in the Deburr Area.The salary range in this posting depends on qualifications and experience.
