Responsible for managing account collections, the full-time California Licensed Collector will ensure accounts are paid in full, follow up on billing discrepancies, and maintain accurate logs while working remotely. Key responsibilities Follow up on all accounts from billing to zero balance and ensure necessary adjustments are made Maintain timely and accurate logs of all billing and collections activities Send follow-up letters to insurance companies and handle patient collections post-insurance payment Required qualifications Valid California Licensed Collector certification Experience in medical billing and collections Proficiency in handling insurance claims and follow-ups Strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate logs Ability to work independently in a remote environment
