This is a regular, full-time position, working at least 40 hours a week.Schedule: Sunday, Monday Wednesday, Thursday = 07:00PM to 05:30AMBenefits:Competitive payComprehensive healthcare benefitsUnion pension plan and 401(k)Paid vacation and holidaysCareer growth opportunities – we promote from within!Service recognition and employee rewardsEmployee referral programJob Duties and Responsibilities:Clean, set-up, operate, and monitor equipment on the production lineEnsure that the proper materials are used for each product being producedComplete all required documentation and quality checksRecord and document all production runs, downtime, weights, code dates, and label verificationsReview charts, screens, quality check sheets, and specifications that are in both hard copy and electronic formatPerform cleaning and sanitation tasks on equipment in both manual and automated capacitiesPrepare equipment for next run to include size changes as neededTroubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficultiesMaintain communication with other departments, supervisor, and employees and notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of productionEnsure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format and completed with required information.
Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP'sReview process data and equipment performance data to improve quality, throughput, and troubleshootReport any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediatelyMaintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issuesFollow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirementsThe requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required.
