File appraisals, analyze data that was ordered by the Underwriting Assistants; modify and approve initial stipulations. Approve loan files to proceed.Essential Job FunctionsUnderwrite FHA, VA, Fannie, Freddie, USDA, 203k mortgage loansReview initial stipulations as assigned by supervisorReview data provided by 4506T and Data Verify to ensure compliance and accuracyApprove outstanding stipulations as they arrive and apply to appropriate filesEnsure files are completed in a timely mannerEnsure all files, stipulations and documents meet federal and state guidelines as well as FHA and/or conventional guidelinesRequirementsMust have a valid CHUMS #High school diploma or equivalentFive years of mortgage industry experienceKnowledge of federal and state guidelines as they relate to the mortgage industryStrong analytical abilitiesPossession of strong organizational skillsAcute attention to detailProficient with Microsoft Office programsNOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
