They will be overseeing the delivery of services in those homes. The Program Coordinator will assist the administrative staff in determining training requirements for employees.Essential Job FunctionsSupervising staff and scheduling them for their assigned shiftsTaking disciplinary action as necessaryFunctioning as a Program Coordinator for individuals servedAssisting in the development, preparation, and monitoring of individuals served plan of care according to the guidelines of the developmental and / or finding, and according to the needs of the individual servedInterviewing prospective individuals served and familiesCoordinating and arranging appointments, meeting, etcServing as a support for the individual served, their family, and Evergreen staff who provide servicesMonitoring budgetary requirements and expendituresEnsuring that all policies, procedures, regulations, and guidelines are followedAssisting in scheduling individuals served specific training and in maintaining documentation of such trainingWorking flexible hours as requested by Executive DirectorStaff performance evaluationsParticipate actively in hiring staff in their perspective home assignmentQualifications/Experience/Job KnowledgeRequires a four (4) year bachelor's degree - BA or BS in Human Services or related field of studyPreferred experience in serving individuals with disabilities or four (4) years full-time equivalent experience in a supervisory position, preferably in the field of mental health or related fieldMust have at least two (2) years experience in serving individuals with disabilitiesExperience in supervising staff, monitoring budgets, and following licensing and regulatory guidelinesNeeds a clear understanding of administrative procedures and personnel managementNeeds an understanding of Medicaid guidelines as they relate to programmingNeeds an understanding of guidelines for individuals served receiving Supported Living, Assisted Living, or In-Home Waiver ServicesPrior work in a non-profit atmosphere and experience with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are preferred.A combination of education and experience will be consideredOccasionally exposed to viruses and infectious conditionsPhysical RequirementsConstantly moves about to coordinate workRegularly works in fast pace environment with multiple task deadlinesRegularly moves and positions objects weighing up to 50 poundsOccasionally exposed to viruses and infectious conditionsConstantly alert and observant during working hoursReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities or a medical condition to perform the essential functions.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesWill superviseSpecial RequirementsMay be required to attend seminar or job-related training coursesMust have understanding, patience, and tact in dealing with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilitiesMust have the ability to maintain good working relationships with Evergreen staff and with contacts from other agencies or entitiesMust be able to prioritize work tasksMust have the ability and desire to function as part of a team, yet work with a high degree of independenceMust have the ability to maintain a high degree of autonomy, accuracy, and integrityMust have excellent customer service skillsSkills and AbilitiesWorking knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office applications.Working knowledge of Google Workspace.Aptitude to learn other software programs as required for this position.Employment VariablesMust have a valid drivers license and good driving record which meets the minimum requirements for Evergreen and reliable transportationMust pass drug screen and criminal background checkAvailability for evening and weekend work may be required based on operational needsExtensive travel in your company or personal vehicle within 3 hours of Knoxville (mileage role will apply).Working EnvironmentMay be required to work in a variety of settings and environments both indoors and outdoors.
