DC2 Process Controller (Q shift, Case Reserve)

Night Shift DC Operations ManagerShift: Night (Q) Shift, Monday to Thursday 6:00 PM - 4:30 AM Pay Rate: $29.00Purpose: Responsible for daily operations functions within the DC. Direct the workflow in and around the Case Reserve department to include product flow to and from Case Reserve in a safe and effective manner, while properly directing associates to complete assigned tasks. Responsible for continually improving the processes of the facility to increase the overall effectiveness of the operation.

This role requires an effective professional communicator (verbal & written), professional team player and must work well with others, must have excellent prioritizing skills.Key Responsibilities:Supporting leaders with the information Release wave by wave type individually in-non sortEnsuring no waves are lockedEnter & track waves on the pass down as they are dropped & processedIf opening multiple waves of same type assign task to driversAssign drivers to work profileKnowledge of understanding when to wave profile allows zone pickingManage sla locations IBPD Tracking LM printing reportsResponding to all emails in a timely mannerRepicks QA/IC Inbound Mezzanine Sorter Returns/Rework etcEnsure Repicks & trouble tasks are picked in a timely fashionUtilize the staffing model throughout the dayCommunicating with shipping on dedicated flowAssigning runners to transport & pack out dedicated (lead)Managing putaway flowCheck for trouble task after every wave is droppedEnsure a good flow of cases are at case break areasProvide details on missed cases (lead)Validating cases are 100% picked and in drop zone as we are completingSupport pulling or put away when neededCheck each picked wave ensuring it's completely completed prior to stating its closed. No cases are systemically showing left in locationAlways ensure there are no loose pairs lying around either desk at shifts end, leave the area clean and ready for the incoming shiftKey Relationships:Operations teamKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Excellent verbal and written communication in EnglishAbility to work collaboratively within a large group of co-workersPositive and enthusiastic approachStrong knowledge of DC operations, including storage methods and material flowPerformance and metrics driven mindsetExcel, Outlook, Word and working knowledge of WMS principlesRequisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or GED equivalent requiredMinimum of (1) year related distribution experience and/or trainingAbility to work overtime and weekends as required
