As our Sr. Database Administrator you will:Install and upgrade MS SQL serversPatch and maintain MS SQL serversAssist in planning and executing major version upgradesMonitor SQL server for uptime and performanceReport on slow queriesOptimize specific slow queriesContribute to infrastructure team on larger projectsManage database backup/restore strategy and processOversee and manage database encryption technologyDocument SQL environmentCreate roadmap for future state of SQL environmentInitiate and champion highly performant and scalable SQL database environmentsContinuously audit and analyze all data to ensure high data qualityProvide high quality end user support where each transaction is a positive experience for the end userExpert in Microsoft SQL AdministrationExpert in SQL data backup and restoreExpert in SQL performance improvementAdvanced knowledge of SQL database encryptionAdvanced knowledge of MS SQL database monitoring toolsKnowledge of Azure cloud-based SQL instancesExtensive experience architecting large, high-volume, mission-critical SQL environmentsExcellent written and oral communications skills requiredDemonstrated organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills
