Supportadults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)and autism in agroupenvironment with a variety of activities.Position is at Triangle Disability & AutismService's DayProgram in RTP.
Essential functions:
Supportparticipants working on life skills, art and music, exercise and movement and otheractivitiesprovidingsupport.
Assistparticipants in completing tasksand activities based on their individual goalsand abilities.
Supervise andmonitorparticipants to ensure health and safety.
Support participantswith any related medicaland personalneeds.This may include personal care and medication administration.
Follow andimplement person-centered plans and/or behavioral plans.
Reportprogress and/or concerns toprogrammanager.
Providetimelyand detailed documentation each shift usingTDAS'electronic health record.
Empower participants to make decisions and practice self-advocacy skills.
Demonstrate the ability to stay calm in a variety of situations (behavioral, medical, etc.)
Work Schedule:
- Monday-Friday
- 25-35 hours per week
- Typical Shift is 8:30am-3:30pm (Hours may vary)
