Day Doc Anesthesiologist

Oneida Health, an award-winning and technology-leading healthcare provider, is seeking a Part-Time Day-Doc Anesthesiologist to join their rebuilding anesthesia team in Oneida, NY. • Community hospital
• Rebuilding anesthesia team
• 8,000 cases annually consisting of Endo, General, Ortho ENT, L&D and other specialties

Responsibilities

• Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
• Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Compensation

• Salary: $360,000
• Sign-on Incentive: $64,000

Shift & Schedule

• Monday-Thursday, 7am to 5pm daytime position at 40 hours per week (0.8 FTE)
• No call, no weekends, no holidays

Requirements

• OB experience is required
• M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
• ECFMG and FLEX
• Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
• Currently licensed as a physician
