DataStage Developer

Salary: $156,000 - 166,400 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience with DataStage ETL, preferably version 11.7 or later; UNIX, shell scripting, Control-M, DB2, Sybase or Oracle SQL; Jira; and Bitbucket.
• Strong analytical, development, and troubleshooting skills.
• Positive, collaborative approach and willingness to take on challenges and calculated risks.
• Interest in continually improving application development processes and tools, and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Experience across the system development lifecycle, including Agile methodologies.
• Excellent customer service, verbal communication, and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with business and IT team members, stakeholders, and management.
• Preferred: Working experience with Java, SAS, and Control-M; experience on Agile teams; and mortgage industry experience.

• Develop solutions for new and existing data reporting needs and data issues, primarily using DataStage.
• Investigate root causes and resolve existing issues.
• Identify process gaps, improve procedures, automate manual tasks, and help stabilize applications.
• Analyze Agile user stories and business requirements, develop solutions aligned with architecture, create prototypes when needed, perform unit testing, and deploy quality solutions.
• Analyze and modify DataStage ETL and UNIX jobs.
• Support applications in production.
• Develop enhancements to DataStage ETL software and address data-related issues.
• Champion technology and tooling improvements that enhance delivery processes.

We are seeking a motivated Senior Developer – ETL/DataStage to join our IT development team and collaborate with a dedicated Agile team.
