We are looking for a skilled Data Center Technician to join our team and support data center operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, racks, switches, and hardware.
- Perform hardware upgrades and replace faulty equipment.
- Install and manage fiber optic and copper cabling.
- Support UPS, PDUs, power, and cooling infrastructure.
- Perform preventive maintenance and respond to technical incidents.
- Handle Moves, Adds, and Changes (MAC).
- Maintain equipment inventory, tickets, and technical documentation.
- Follow data center security and safety procedures.
Required Skills:
- Experience in data center, IT infrastructure, server, or hardware support.
- Knowledge of servers, networking, and structured cabling.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle and install IT equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, or relevant certifications.
- Experience with ticketing and monitoring tools.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
