As a Presales Solutions Architect, Databricks , you will serve as the technical lead across strategic pursuits, helping shape client vision, solution strategy, and architecture for enterprise data and AI transformations.
You will partner closely with Databricks account teams, MathCo sales and account leaders, clients, and solution experts to qualify opportunities, lead technical discussions, design winning solutions, and support complex enterprise sales cycles. AI & Data Strategy The ideal candidate combines strong Databricks and cloud architecture expertise with exceptional client-facing communication skills and a passion for helping customers solve business challenges through data and AI.
Partner with MathCo account executives, partnership leaders, and Databricks sellers to support strategic pursuits and revenue growth. Qualify customer opportunities and identify where MathCo's data, AI, analytics, and engineering capabilities can create value. Help shape pursuit strategies, technical win themes, and solution differentiators. Support account planning activities with Databricks and MathCo field teams. Design scalable enterprise solutions leveraging Databricks and modern cloud data platforms. Data Engineering Data Modernization Enterprise AI & GenAI Machine Learning Data Governance Translate business objectives into technical architectures and implementation approaches. Advise clients on modernization strategies and platform adoption roadmaps. Customer & Partner Engagement Build trusted relationships with CIOs, CDOs, Heads of Data & Analytics, and AI leaders. Collaborate with Databricks field sellers, solution architects, and partner teams on joint opportunities. Participate in executive briefings, customer events, and industry forums. Contribute reusable assets, reference architectures, playbooks, and solution accelerators. Share market insights and customer feedback with delivery and capability teams. Support field enablement efforts around Databricks, GenAI, and modern data architecture. 8+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Presales Engineering, Cloud Architecture, Technical Consulting, Customer Engineering, or related customer-facing technical roles.
Hands-on experience with the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform and Lakehouse architecture.
Strong expertise in Python, SQL, Spark, and PySpark.

Databricks certifications including Data Engineer, Solution Architect, ML Engineer, or related credentials. Experience working directly with Databricks field teams or within the Databricks partner ecosystem. Familiarity with Snowflake and modern cloud data ecosystems. Consulting or professional services experience supporting Fortune 500 organizations. Experience supporting Enterprise AI, Agentic AI, GenAI, and MLOps initiatives. Industry expertise in Retail, CPG, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Financial Services, or Technology.
Become a trusted technical partner to both MathCo and Databricks field organizations. Influence and support strategic Databricks opportunities from qualification through close. Contribute directly to qualified pipeline, solution development, and revenue growth. Accelerate client adoption of Databricks, modern data platforms, and AI solutions. Create scalable assets and repeatable solution playbooks that strengthen MathCo's Data & AI practice. Help position MathCo as a preferred Databricks consulting and implementation partner in strategic accounts.
