Your contributions can help clients improve financial performance, accelerate new digital ventures, and fuel growth through innovation.Work you'll do:Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data products on the Databricks platform using tools such as Auto Loader, Declarative Pipelines, and Structured StreamingBuilding and optimizing Databricks SQL endpoints, data models, and integrations with business intelligence tools to support analytics and reportingSupporting the development and deployment of machine learning solutions using Databricks, Unity Catalog, and MLflowAdvising clients on implementation approaches and operational practices across Databricks data, analytics, and machine learning capabilitiesImplementing end-to-end Databricks solutions across data ingestion, transformation, governance, and deployment on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)A successful candidate would possess these skills:Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsMeticulous attention to detail and quality of work productAbility to build and sustain professional relationshipsAbility to lead projects or workstreamsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong interpersonal skills and professional demeanorAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to provide clear guidance to othersQualifications required:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the futureMust be able to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance2+ years of experience developing and deploying solutions on the Databricks platform2+ years of experience with SQL, Python, and Apache Spark2+ years of experience with at least one major cloud platform: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you servePreferred:Databricks Data Engineer Associate, Databricks Data Engineer Professional, or Databricks Data Analyst Associate certificationExperience supporting government, public sector, or higher education clientsActive US government security clearanceFor individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.

This compensation range is specific to California and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $97,700 to $162,800.
