Databricks Architect

• 5+ years as an Enterprise Data Architect
• Expert with all of the recent features of Databricks
• Ability to be confident and guide client in a large enterprise environment data bricks environment
• Needs to come from a corporate environment or consulting
• Must: strong, recent, hands-on experience with Databricks platform.

PLUS:

• Databricks certified
• Experience in Energy & Utilities domain.

DAY TO DAY:

• Serve as the Databricks Architect and primary technical liaison between the consulting team and the client throughout a large-scale enterprise data migration to the Databricks platform.
• Lead and guide Databricks platform architecture across a complex enterprise environment with multiple technologies and departments at varying stages of migration.
• Design and establish scalable, enterprise-level Databricks architecture that supports both departments actively migrating and those still in the planning phase.
• Partner closely with consulting teams to provide hands-on architectural guidance, technical direction, and best practices throughout the migration.
• Evaluate existing enterprise technologies and determine how they integrate, migrate, and transition into the Databricks environment.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to the client, confidently communicating architectural decisions and guiding stakeholders through complex Databricks initiatives.
• Apply current Databricks platform capabilities and features to develop effective architecture solutions and ensure the platform is being leveraged appropriately.
• Collaborate with consultants, technical teams, and client stakeholders to resolve architectural challenges and maintain alignment across the long-term migration program.
• Contribute to architectural planning and technical strategy while remaining hands-on with the Databricks platform.
• Support a large, long-term enterprise transformation initiative and help establish consistent architecture standards across the organization.
