Database ModelerWe at Software Technology Inc. hiring for a Database Modeler role. Work environment:- Mostly remote, onsite days will be used for meetings with leads and architects- Will have to be onsite 1 time a week in Chicago, ILTypical task breakdown:Designing data models for relational and non-relational databases.Developing and fine-tuning SQL queries to implement business requirementsDocumenting data modelsDeveloping scripts to interact with dataInteraction with team:Will work closely with multiple development teams to support their business needs.

S in IT related studies (IT, computer science, data science) Plus 10+ years overall expTechnical Skills (Required):5+ years developing Relational data models5+ years developing non-relational data models5+ years experience working with SQL - Ability to create and debug complex SQL queries3+ years of developing applications using any object-oriented language (Python, Java, Scala etc)1+ years working in AWS environmentAbility to create complex Data Models using modeling tools (ERWin preferred)3+ years experience with complex JSON structuresBasic knowledge of API’s and ability to create swaggerTechnical Skills (Desired):Ability to create a dashboards using BI tools1+ years of Java experienceWorking knowledge of Snowflake and Dynamo DBData Science experienceSoft Skills (Required):Ability to communicate at a high level.Proactive, self motivated. Able to move projects forward quicklyAbility to quickly learn and utilize new technologies.
