Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Database Manager to lead the administration, performance, security, and reliability of a Microsoft SQL Server environment. This role provides technical leadership to a small database/reporting team while working with IT, security, and business stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of Microsoft SQL Server administration in production environments.
- 2+ years of technical leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, Always On, backup/recovery, SQL Server Agent, and performance tuning.
- Working knowledge of SSIS and SSRS.
- Experience with PowerShell automation.
- Understanding of Windows Server, storage, and virtualization as they relate to database performance.
- Experience with database security and audited or regulated environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and occasional after-hours maintenance.
