Database Engineer

Locations are Charlotte, Phoenix, Chandler, Las Colinas(TX), Des Moines, or Minneapolis- Locals

Visa: Green Card, H4-EAD, GC-EAD, US Citizen- W2 candidate

Strong in Python AI and Lead level. Database Engineer and can include (Mongo, Postgres, Redis, Oracle, SQL ) but they need strong AI Experience. The ideal candidate | Engineering-focused professional with a passion for automation, AI, and operational excellence. Demonstrates a proactive approach to problem prevention, builds scalable and reusable solutions, and continuously seeks innovative ways to improve reliability, efficiency, and knowledge sharing

Required Skills:

• 4+ years of Database Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
• 3-7 years of experience supporting Oracle databases in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Oracle Database Administration
  • Oracle SQL
  • PL/SQL
  • Query tuning
  • Execution plans
  • Performance diagnostics
• Experience working with:
  • AWR
  • ASH
  • SQL Tuning
  • Optimizer behavior
  • Statistics management
• Experience developing automation solutions for database operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical findings into clear operational recommendations.

Desired Skills:

• AI & Automation
• Understanding of:
  • MCP (Model Context Protocol)
  • Agentic AI architectures
  • Agent-to-agent workflows
  • Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)
  • Generative AI concepts
