Database EngineerLocation: Jersey City, NJ (hybrid 3x a week onsite)Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Database Engineers/Leads: have 7-8 different platforms, most important (largest data storage footprint) are Oracle, SQL, Sybase; others include Teradata, Postgres, MongoDB, Hadoop, UDB. Various concurrent projects involving cloud migration (hosting is a big aspect of this), cyber resiliency, upgrade of toolsets used by the database development teams (IRIS reporting, other utility applications, believes they're written in Python), database updates (versioning + optimization).Must Haves:Database platform experience (Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase critical; exposure to Hadoop, Teradata, Postgres, Mongo, UDB to extent where they can pick up quickly)Database engineering (schema design, procedures, triggers, etc)Database infrastructure and hosting planningAutomation scriptingPythonNice to Haves:Exposure to Ansible
