Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Database Engineer II will be responsible for the development, testing, and production deployment of database products in a cloud environment, focusing on data modeling, performance enhancements, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities Design and create complex data models while implementing data products to support business needs Test applications using database management software and gather system metrics to identify and resolve issues Mentor junior Database Engineers and evaluate new technologies for potential IT services Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field Minimum 3 years of Data Management experience with a focus on database architecture and data integration 5+ years of hands-on experience in data roles with advanced engineering principles Fluent in SQL and experienced in designing, developing, and deploying data warehouses Familiarity with cloud migrations and building data pipelines on Azure
