To support a federal civilian customer, the remote Database Administrator with Public Trust will manage the administration, maintenance, and optimization of Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle databases while contributing to cloud modernization efforts. Key responsibilities Perform day-to-day administration of Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle databases, including installation, configuration, and patching Monitor database health and performance, escalating issues to senior DBAs as needed Execute routine backup and recovery procedures and support data migration tasks associated with cloud modernization Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience Minimum of 4 years of experience administering Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle databases Working knowledge of database backup, recovery, and basic performance tuning concepts Proficiency in writing SQL queries and troubleshooting routine database issues Ability to obtain public trust clearance
