To support a federal civilian customer, the remote Database Administrator (Public Trust) will manage the administration, maintenance, and optimization of Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle databases while assisting with cloud modernization and data center consolidation efforts. Key responsibilities: Perform day-to-day administration of Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle databases, including installation, configuration, and patching Monitor database health and performance, escalating issues to senior DBAs as needed Assist with data migration tasks and respond to database-related incidents in ServiceNow Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience Minimum of 4 years of experience administering Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle databases Working knowledge of database backup, recovery, and basic performance tuning concepts Proficiency in writing SQL queries and troubleshooting routine database issues Ability to obtain public trust clearance
