Database AdministratorLocation: Fort Lauderdale, FL (Hybrid) Position Type: ContractRequirements include availability to work on the client's site in Fort Lauderdale, FL (required); experience as DBA with Oracle specifically (5+ years); SQL database experience; experience with ERP and JMS Oracle databases - 12c RAC or higher (preferred); Oracle Cloud experience (preferred).Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: first line support of ERP and JMS Oracle databases and handle refreshes; perform database administration, creation maintenance, and performance analysis; troubleshoot and provide corrective action on a continuous basis; perform and monitor scheduled jobs and ensure production databases are on-line; develop plan, migrate, and work on 12c RAC or higher including Cloud and standalone databases; upgrade to higher database versions and apply critical patches as needed; assist as needed with support of SQL production databases, testing/development SQL databases, and Oracle databases; perform backup and restores, handle ERP and JMS database refreshes, perform database administration, database creation maintenance, performance analysis, troubleshoot and provide corrective action on a continuous basis.
