Data Warehouse Architect (MDM & ODI)

Position Overview

The State of New York is seeking a highly experienced Data Warehouse Architect with strong expertise in Master Data Management (MDM), Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), and government agency environments .

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience architecting, designing, and implementing enterprise-level data warehouse solutions within government agencies, working closely with business stakeholders, COTS vendors, and technical teams.

Minimum Experience Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in Data Warehouse development and implementation
• 7+ years of experience with Master Data Management (MDM)
• 7+ years of experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
• 7+ years of experience working with government agencies

Detailed Qualifications

• 84 months of experience working with agency/business subject matter experts to gather requirements and translate them into data warehouse, application, and system designs within a government environment.
• 84 months of experience architecting, designing, documenting, and implementing:
  • Enterprise Data Warehousing solutions
  • COTS and Custom application integrations
  • Master Data Management solutions
  • (For a government agency)
• 84 months of experience in:
  • Data modeling
  • Designing normalized enterprise data warehouse environments
  • Implementing solutions using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and ETL technologies
  • (Within a government agency)
• 84 months of experience developing data integrations for heterogeneous systems and Business Intelligence environments using SQL.
• 84 months of experience performing database comparative analysis for:
  • Designing new transactional databases and data warehouses
  • Enhancing existing transactional systems and warehouse environments
• 84 months of experience applying analytical reasoning, data computation, interpretation, and presentation techniques to solve complex business problems.
• 84 months of experience implementing systematic Data Error/Recovery and Data Cleanup procedures.
• 84 months of experience integrating enterprise systems with Kafka.
