Servers are administered by another group, but our team is responsible for the security structure and authorizes user access to the groups and sudosResponsible for Teradata security and accessResponsible for complex Common Batch Framework and Common Scheduler to ensure current and reliable data is available for critical business processes and decision makingResponsible for Data Warehouse change management infrastructure and all promotions of code and ddl; performing build engineer tasks for both manual and automated promotion processesResponsible for migrating the three separate MDHHS DWs supporting four MDHHS Program areas to Common ProcessesResponsible for DW standards and processes including their adherence to SOM policies and proceduresResponsible for conducting elevated access and user auditsResponsible for mitigating any audit findings; providing input to SSPsResponsible for Data Warehouse Continuity Planning and testingResponsible for providing support for escalated Data Warehouse issue troubleshooting and resolutionRequired Experience:Experience supporting one or more State of Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Data WarehousesMinimum 12 years Teradata experienceMinimum 10 years SQL experienceMinimum 10 years shell scripting experienceMinimum 5 years Linux experienceSupporting the loading of data from multiple source systemsProviding targeted training and technical expertise to development teams to enable them to better troubleshoot and support their batchesProven track record of working independently within a collaborative teamMust be able to make decisions on the correct path forward in various situations while staying consistent with State of Michigan and MDHHS/DTMB policies
