Data TechnicianAs a Data Technician, you will be responsible for pulling, testing, and terminating CAT5e/6a and or Fiber Optic cabling, installing cable support structures as well as various kinds of A/V, security, and/or DAS devices on a commercial construction site.ResponsibilitiesBe responsible for pulling, testing, and terminating CAT5e/6a and/or Fiber Optic cabling on an active construction siteInstall various kinds of devices such as speakers, projectors, displays, WAPs, card readers, access control devices (strikes, locks, or crash bars), transmitters, receivers, and DAS equipment.Attend mandatory safety meetings, as well as maintain strict adherence to company and client safety standards.Accurately label cabling consistent with PM or foreman instructionAssist other team members whenever necessary to efficiently complete the installationAdhere to company policies and established proceduresQualifications6-months experience as a commercial low-voltage technicianPossess a High School Diploma or GEDHave their own reliable transportation to and from the jobsitePass a background check and drug testBe able to work dayshifts, nights, or weekends, if needed As an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status.
