Data Security Engineer (BigID)

We are looking for a Data Security Engineer with expertise in Data Loss Prevention (DLP) using BigID.

Overview

Data Security Engineer role focusing on implementing and managing DLP capabilities to protect sensitive data across email, endpoints, and SaaS applications.

Responsibilities

• Implementation of data loss prevention (DLP) capabilities for email, endpoint, and SaaS applications
• Execute daily scans of end-user repositories (e.g., shared network drives, OneDrive, SharePoint) using BigID to detect sensitive data
• Collaborate with end users to validate findings, resolve false positives, and guide remediation of true positives
• Manage incidents via ServiceNow, including triage, prioritization, and closure

Qualifications

• Experience with BigID or similar data discovery/classification platforms
• Experience with data migration tools and processes, especially ShareGate
