Job Title: Data Scientist - TS/SCI Clearance
Location: 5 days a week onsite in Springfield, VA

Compensation: $85.00 - $95.00 / Hourly / W2

We are seeking a Data Scientist for an onsite, full-time role in Springfield, VA supporting defense, intelligence, and federal clients. The position focuses on developing machine learning and analytics solutions for mission-focused use cases, including signal processing, geospatial analytics, computer vision, anomaly detection, and predictive modeling.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain data pipelines for structured and unstructured data
- Develop ML, deep learning, NLP, and computer vision models
- Analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and relationships
- Transform raw data into operationally useful outputs
- Support edge-computing and low-bandwidth environments
- Work with Python, APIs, Docker, Git, Jupyter, VS Code, and CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and mission stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 4+ years of data science, machine learning, or analytics experience
- Strong mathematics/statistics foundation
- Experience with:
- Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, OpenCV)
- SQL
- R
- Git
- Experience delivering end-to-end analytics solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or relevant certifications
- FastAPI, Docker, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), REST APIs
- Software development and process automation experience
- National security, defense, or intelligence community background
- Edge AI and low-latency ML deployments
- Agile development experience
