Data Scientist - SrThis position is contingent upon award of contract, business needs, security clearance verification, and funding availability. We are seeking a Senior-Level Data Scientist to support various locations. The ideal candidate will need to do the following. Enables advanced data analytics, data engineering, data mining, exploratory data analysis, predictive analysis, and statistical analysis to support the full spectrum of JIOC intelligence operations.
This position uses scientific techniques to process and structure multi-source data, creating timely and actionable intelligence insights for JIOC personnel and supporting informed decisions across all mission areas. The Data Scientist designs and implements AI/ML and advanced automation solutions that enhance intelligence processes, building high-quality prediction systems and recommendation engines that significantly augment intelligence capabilities and enable critical warfighting functions.Work Schedule: Standard 40-hour work week between 0600 and 1800, Monday through Friday. Ability to work shift work if necessary.Essential Responsibilities:Perform complex statistical analysis and data modeling to extract actionable insights from intelligence datasetsDesign and implement advanced data visualizations to enable all aspects of JIOC intelligence operationsDevelop and validate statistical models that identify patterns, trends, and relationships within diverse intelligence sourcesCreate and contribute to implementing AI/ML algorithms and AI/ML-enabled systems in support of JIOC intelligence operationsConduct exploratory data analysis across internal and external sources to support intelligence analysisDevelop automated processes for data integration and conditioning to enhance all-source analysisCollaborate with analysts and computer scientists to design and implement new data processesCreate algorithms and scripts to automate manual tasks and enhance analytical capabilitiesImprove data quality, search capabilities, and predictive models to support intelligence operationsApply experimental design principles to test hypotheses and evaluate intelligence processesEvaluate existing data capabilities and recommend solutions for the intelligence enterprisePerform systems analysis to define specifications for new or enhanced intelligence databasesIdentify redundancies and develop solutions for efficient data integrationWork with intelligence analysts and operators to determine requirements and create effective data solutionsActively participate in JIOC intelligence planning conferences and exercises, J2 working groups, intelligence system capability development meetings, Joint and national-level intelligence coordination boards, and technical exchange meetings with mission partnersMinimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):Advanced expertise in multiple programming languages and analytical frameworksExpert knowledge of machine learning algorithms, deep learning, and artificial intelligence applicationsComprehensive understanding of large-scale multi-INT analyticsDemonstrated success implementing advanced predictive models in operational environmentsExperience developing custom analytical solutions for complex intelligence challengesAdvanced proficiency with cloud computing platforms and big data architecturesExperience leading data science initiatives and mentoring junior data scientistsStrong understanding of the intelligence enterprise and mission requirementsProven ability to translate complex analytical findings into operational impactExperience with DevOps practices and production deployment of data science solutionsSecurity Clearance Required:TS/SCI.
