We are seeking an experienced and innovative Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI/ML solutions, deep learning, and cloud computing. This role involves leading projects from conception to deployment, requiring a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for data‑driven innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI and machine learning solutions from initial concept to production deployment.
- Apply supervised and unsupervised learning techniques, such as regression, decision trees, random forests, gradient boosted decision trees (XGBoost, LightGBM), KNN, and t‑SNE.
- Develop and optimize deep learning models using tools such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, or MXNet.
- Explore and integrate generative AI technologies such as OpenAI, Llama 2, LangChain, LlamaIndex, vector databases, and RAG applications.
- Utilize AWS SageMaker for scalable cloud computing and machine learning model deployment.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand business needs, formulate technical approaches, and deliver actionable insights.
- Maintain and manage project timelines and deliverables using JIRA.
- Continuously stay abreast of the latest AI/ML advancements and best practices.
Qualifications
Work Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics or related field.
- 5+ years of experience building and deploying AI/ML solutions.
- Strong proficiency in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, or MXNet.
- Hands‑on experience with generative AI technologies and vector databases.
- Proven track record of successful cloud computing implementation, preferably with AWS SageMaker.
- Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools like JIRA.
- Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Nice to Have Skills
- Advanced knowledge of Bayesian statistics and causal inference.
- Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
- Familiarity with Shiny and Streamlit.
- Experience with graph network analysis (networkx, Neo4J).
