Data ScientistDigital Intelligence Systems (DISYS) is seeking a savvy Data Scientist to be a part of a high-performance agile Metrics, Analytics and Reporting Team (MART) within the Healthcare domain.Eligible consultants must reside in Northern California and able to attend an onsite orientation in Oakland, California. When onsite operations resume, remote work options are offered for two days a week!Join a small and highly motivated team who study and analyze user interactions with customer facing applications. The team focuses on a data-driven strategy for making decisions by studying historic usage trends and is moving towards predicting how users will interact with the organization's products.The MART group loves what they do and needs someone who equally shares the joy and passion of working with data and driving product performance by building a sound understanding of their users through creative problem solving.The ideal candidate is a great team player, has experience in predictive analysis, data modeling and familiarity with a multitude of technologies.

You should also have proven analytical skills; strong experience in writing Python code, SQL queries, designing database tables, and engaging Tableau to create forecasting reports and predictive models.If you are that person, we are looking for you!Skills:4-5 years of experience and proven track record in solving business problems through fact-based and scientific analyticsComfortable in working with programming language Python.Sound understanding of Client techniques for NLP.Advanced knowledge of Transformers and underlying concepts of neural networks.Experienced in working with Tensorflow, PyTorch and spaCy.Well versed with supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms.Extensive experience developing Tableau reports.Clear understanding of logical and physical database design and data.Strong database skills (MySQL, SQL Server) and ability to write, optimize and tune complex SQL scripts.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team with diverse backgrounds and share knowledge.Responsibilities:Make recommendations regarding collection, extraction and transformation of large data sets.Utilize statistical approaches to build predictive models (time series, clustering, neural networks)Interpret data and analyze results.Translate analytical insights into clear recommendations; identify trends and patterns to inform business decisions and product designs.Leverage Python to analyze complex data.Design and develop customized interactive reports and dashboards in Tableau; schedule in Tableau Server.Define and develop a data migration strategy between different products and platforms.Develop creative ways to identify and use data that significantly impact key business metrics.Assess the potential usefulness and validity of new data sources.Mentor other team members/ analysts to grow their skills and careers.Qualifications:Minimum Requirements:B.S. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Engineering or equivalent work experience.5+ years of experience and proven track record in solving business problems through fact-based and scientific analytics.The ideal candidate will have:Master's, or PHD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or another quantitative field highly desired.An Agile mindset with experience working in Agile environment.A spirit of collaboration and transparent communication.A natural curiosity for new scripting languages, frameworks and technologies.High personal code/development standards (peer testing, unit testing, documentation).
