Responsibilities

• Consumer’s data scientists use a combination of technical and business skills to help Client’s brands achieve their financial and strategic objectives. A Data Scientist learns the job while performing hands-on analytics and modeling.
• Adhere to our culture of humility, curiosity, and impact
• Process data using Python, PySpark, and Databricks
• Develop models and dashboards
• Learn the job while performing hands-on analytics and modeling
• Help business partners make more profitable decisions based on customer and prospect insights
• Customer interaction for collecting data in Subscription model; collect feedback and implement improvements
• Experience with statistical software and database languages
• Experience using data science to improve customer experience and business profitability
• Proficiency in Python packages such as PySpark, NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, XGBoost, Matplotlib, and lifelines
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of methods such as frequentist statistics, Bayesian statistics, forecasting, optimization, causal inference, machine learning, and natural language processing
• Proficiency with version control
• Experience with reading and writing data in the cloud
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teammates across functions with strong skills in persuasive and informative speaking

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in data analysis or related field
• Prefer someone from Retail domain with customer interaction and retention experience, possibly in subscription model
