Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our team and help drive data-based decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, advanced proficiency in Python, R, and SQL, and a solid understanding of machine learning techniques and statistical modeling. This role will support ongoing analytics initiatives and partner with cross-functional teams to solve complex business problems using data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze large, complex datasets to extract insights and inform business decisions.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize predictive models using machine learning techniques.
  • Clean, process, and validate data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and present results in a clear, actionable format.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Enhance data collection procedures and extend internal datasets with third-party data as needed.
  • Develop tools and workflows to support broader data science and data engineering initiatives.
  • Assist IT in implementing a new Data Lake infrastructure.
  • Use SQL, Python, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI for reporting and visualization tasks.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3–7 years of professional experience in a Data Scientist or related analytics role.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, and SQL (Advanced).
  • Deep understanding of statistical methods, probability theory, and evaluation metrics.
  • Proficiency with machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras).
  • Experience with data wrangling, model development, and feature selection.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Business acumen with the ability to translate business challenges into data solutions.
  • Experience in Agile development environments.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.
  • Familiarity with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Deep Learning techniques.
  • Background in business services or manufacturing industries.
  • Experience supporting implementation of data lakes or enterprise-level data platforms.
Interview Process:
  1. First Round – Business & Technical Team (1 session of 90 minutes or 2 sessions of 45 minutes)
  2. Second Round – Leadership Interview (as needed)
