Staff Product ManagerThis Staff Product Manager on the Inventory Intelligence team will be responsible for leveraging our newly deployed platform of inventory scanning robotics and the accompanying analytics to develop and champion several value-driving and cutting-edge products. Specifically, this position will drive initiatives and adoption that create real bottom-line value across the Sam's club organization by implementing next-gen solutions for everyday retail problems. While innovative in scope, this role will be grounded in driving real business outcomes from day one.In this role you will:Drive the product discovery process for large complex, and/or ambiguous projects.Drive execution of multiple business plans and projects.Support product implementation and deployment for large, complex, and ambiguous projects.Evaluate and resolve technical feasibility, design optimization, and production issues.Work with other departments to establish a design, technology, and product development strategy.Drive adoption of technology by focusing on outcomes for business partners across the organization.Define and drive toward outcome-centric metrics for innovation technology.Develop project analysis reports for top management review.Promote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.You'll make an impact by:Developing and enhancing products - you will manage product roadmaps, align business and technical needs, analyze customer and product data, turn customer insights into actionable initiatives, determine rollout strategy, and manage risks.Defining vision and strategies for your product family, using domain expertise, internal and external best practices, identifying market opportunities, building business cases, and approving objectives.Crafting and developing solutions to large business challenges - communicate business and customer needs to key partners to implement products and timelines.Driving business plans and projects by identifying the customer and operational needs of the product.You'll sweep us off our feet if:You are a strategic thinker and able to synthesize data from multiple sources (including analytics, user research, operations research, and design) to identify key unmet needs and solutions that can address the needs.You can translate product strategy into detailed specifications, making functional and user interface design tradeoffs, managing product launches, and owning the product successes post-launch.You are comfortable operating and executing in a matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders.
You have the empathy and communication skills to understand differing perspectives so you can articulate and deliver solutions that address the needs of multiple constituencies.You enjoy the journey of problem discovery, testing, pivoting, and occasional failure.
