We don't need a test engineer, we need however someone who can run, implement and enforce a testing heavy posture and by that, I mean automated testing for development, not conformance and sign off/V&V), and needs to know modern o11y: OTel + MLFlow is a minimum, Jaeger is a plus.
Familiarity with other o11y stacks is acceptable, even if it's Honeycomb.
Enough Docker to be dangerous and knowing how API gateways work for LLMs is a plus.
Can go on Vercel and build some toy app (Vercel's AI Gateway is a Kong gateway like client's, just white labelled).
