Data AnalystWe are a small and highly motivated team who study and analyze user interactions with our customer facing applications.We are looking to grow our team to focus on a data-driven strategy for making decisions. In addition to looking at historic usage trends we are moving towards predicting how users will interact with our products. We love what we do here and need someone who equally shares the joy and passion of working with data and driving product performance by building a sound understanding of our users through creative problem solving.The ideal candidate is a great team player, has experience in predictive analysis, data modeling and familiarity to a multitude of technologies.
You should also have excellent analytical skills; strong experience in writing Python code, SQL queries, designing database tables; and creating forecasting reports and predictive models.Skills:4-5 years’ experience and proven track record in solving business problems through fact-based and scientific analyticsComfortable in working with programming language Python.Sound understanding of ML techniques for NLPAdvanced knowledge of Transformers and underlying concepts of neural networksExperienced in working with Tensorflow, PyTorch and spaCyWell versed with supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms.Extensive experience developing Tableau reports.Clear understanding of logical and physical database design and data.Strong database skills (MySQL, SQL Server) and ability to write, optimize and tune complex SQL scripts.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team with diverse backgrounds and share knowledge.Responsibilities:Make recommendations regarding collection, extraction and transformation of large data setsUtilize statistical approaches to build predictive models (time series, clustering, neural networks)Interpret data and analyze resultsTranslate analytical insights into clear recommendations; identify trends and patterns to inform business decisions and product designLeverage Python to analyze complex dataDesign and develop customized interactive reports and dashboards in Tableau; schedule in Tableau ServerDefine and develop a data migration strategy between different products and platformsDevelop creative ways to identify and use data that significantly impact key business metricsAssess the potential usefulness and validity of new data sourcesMentor other team members/ analysts to grow their skills and careersQualifications:Minimum Requirements:B.S. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Engineering or equivalent work experienceRequired Skills: Emphasis on the machine learning and natural language processing Strong coding in Python, along with experience with Tensorflow, Pytorch Neural networks/Transformers If they can code strongly in Python, the SQL skills aren't as critical. Time series forecasting, ARIMA Models, Recommendation SystemsAdditional Skills: Ideally, 3+ years of experience in this space.
