Aggregating data from a variety of non-server-based sources, identifying new sources, and streamlining collection and processing where possible
Applying knowledge of statistics, predictive modeling, and advanced mathematics to highlight patterns, identify trends, predict future outcomes, answer key business questions, and make valuable discoveries from given non-server data sets
Summarizing complex findings and advice for stakeholders of varying levels of analytical knowledge so that insights are easily digestible and actionable
Promoting effective work practices, working as a team member, and showing respect for co-workers
Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Data Science, Statistics, Math, Economics or related field
A minimum of three (3) years’ relevant work experience in data science, data consulting, or applied statistics
Demonstrate strong knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and predictive modeling and experience with proper applications and interpretations of results (i.e. clustering, regression analysis, random forest, etc.)
Possess the ability to accurately perform and comprehend results of advanced analytics and modeling techniques and communicate data findings to senior management
