To support the Core Infrastructure team, the full-time remote Data Scientist, Infrastructure will analyze infrastructure usage and workloads, develop models for resource consumption, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-informed infrastructure decisions. Key responsibilities Analyze infrastructure usage and predict demand to inform capacity planning Develop models and strategies for efficient compute resource consumption and provisioning Provide actionable insights to improve infrastructure operations and reduce costs Required qualifications PhD with 3+ years, MS/MA with 6+ years, or BS/BA with 8+ years of data science or quantitative modeling experience 3-8+ years of experience focusing on infrastructure, cloud environments, and resource utilization Proficiency in SQL and a programming language such as Python or R Experience in analyzing logs/telemetry or cloud infrastructure engineering Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deliver impactful results
