Collaborating with key stakeholders, the full-time remote Data Scientist III will document data-related needs and implement advanced analytics techniques to optimize the use of Moffitt's data assets, contributing to clinical and research initiatives in genomics, radiomics, and patient-reported outcomes. Key responsibilities Document data-related needs and identify innovative approaches to address them using advanced data science techniques Create predictive models and algorithms, and manipulate datasets to extract meaningful insights and trends Collaborate with clinical and research faculty to enhance analytics methods and support competitive grant applications Required qualifications PhD or Master's degree in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline Advanced expertise in statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and machine learning Proficiency in R programming, with experience in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools Experience leading complex analyses for peer-reviewed publications and collaborating with multidisciplinary research teams Demonstrated experience with large multi-institutional or real-world healthcare datasets
