Overview
Location: Charlotte, NC & Addison, TX (Hybrid)
Responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise-scale ML/NLP solutions including Named Entity Recognition, Document Classification, Document Summarization, Topic Modelling, Dialog Systems, Sentiment Analysis, and OCR text processing.
- Set up supervised and unsupervised ML/NLP models, including data cleaning, data analytics, feature creation, model selection and ensemble methods, performance metrics, and visualization.
- Develop ML/NLP pipelines for large data sets, both structured and unstructured.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as Data Scientist or related roles
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Deep understanding and some exposure to Generative AI open-source models
- At least 5 years programming experience in software development and Agile processes
- At least 5 years Python (or equivalent) programming experience to work with ML/NLP models
- Experience in designing and implementing OCR and other data processing components

- Master’s degree in Computer Science/Data Science or related field
- Collaborating with a diverse set of partners and stakeholders from various Lines of Business
- Highly motivated, proactive and a self-starter; strong sense of ownership and ability to create and execute plans without daily oversight
- Critical thinker with the ability to analyze problems, identify issues and provide solutions
- Ability to navigate the enterprise and data assets across multiple functions
