Data Quality Analyst Contract | Remote | EST
Type: Contract
Length: Ongoing (10-15/hrs a week)
Location: Remote (EST preferred)
Responsibilities
- Communicate with technical and operational subject matter experts to understand and collect metadata for systems, processes, reports, controls, data movement, and business terminology
- Document the inventory of current state data quality controls
- Perform root cause analysis on data issues
- Recommend data quality controls to resolve gaps/issues
- Build and improve data governance processes that support data transformation, data structures, metadata, data quality controls, dependency, and workload management
- Identify gaps in data management standard adherence and work with appropriate partners to develop plans to close gaps
Qualifications
- Strong data management and governance skills
- Strong experience and understanding of the collection and management of metadata
- Experience with implementing and measuring Data Quality and Controls
- Ability to identify, analyze, and address problems to resolve issues
- Ability to communicate with individuals having varying technical understanding, clearly and effectively
