If at any time you would like to opt out of text messaging, respond "STOP".As part of the application process, you agree that TekSynap Corporation may retain and use your name, e-mail, and contact information for purposes related to employment consideration.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include:Monitor and respond to ServiceNow tickets related to network incidents and service requests in accordance with OCIO-defined priorities and service levelsPerform troubleshooting and resolution of network issues across OSI Layers 1–3Support enterprise network environments including routers, switches, and wireless access devicesMonitor network performance using government-provided toolsCoordinate with the Service Desk and OCIO staff for ticket updates, routing, and closureInstall, configure, and maintain network hardware components including routers, switches, and wireless devicesSupport office moves, new office setups, and reconfigurations including cabling coordination and port activationConfigure switch ports, VLANs, and end-user network connections ("data monuments")Install, update, test, and validate Cisco IOS software on network devicesConfigure and maintain remote management access to network devicesSupport monitoring and troubleshooting of WAN and telecommunications circuitsRespond to incidents and service requests in alignment with OCIO-defined response and resolution targetsSupport after-hours maintenance or emergency response activities as neededDocument all activities within ServiceNow including configuration changes and resolution stepsMaintain network documentation including port assignments, VLANs, and configuration recordsSupport reporting and documentation requirements for operational and project activitiesWork closely with OCIO stakeholders, Service Desk personnel, and other technical teamsCoordinate activities for network changes, installations, and troubleshootingProvide technical support to end users as neededRequired QualificationsRequired qualifications include:3–5 years of experience supporting enterprise network and infrastructure environmentsExperience with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of network devices (routers, switches, wireless)Experience configuring VLANs, switch ports, and network connectivityWorking knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN fundamentalsExperience supporting WAN environments and telecommunications circuitsExperience working within ServiceNow ticketing systemBachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)Active or must be able to obtain Public TrustAdditional Job InformationWork environment and physical demands include:Location: Washington, DCType of environment: Office, HybridNoise level: LowWork schedule: Schedule is day shift Monday – Friday.
