You will collaborate to deliver insights that enable our teams to fulfill our mission: to do now what patients need next.What you'll be working on:Understand and translate business needs into enterprise data models for Pharma Development.Maintain conceptual, logical Enterprise data models along with corresponding metadata.Create logical and physical data models using best practices to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancy.Work with the Development team to translate Logical Data Model into Physical Data Model.Support Development team in optimising and updating logical and physical data models to support new and existing projects.Perform reverse engineering of physical data models from existing platformIn addition to its core accountabilities the Data Modeler Role has the following Extended Accountabilities:Develop best practices for standard naming conventions and modeling coding practices to ensure consistency of data models.Recommend opportunities for reuse of data models in new environments.Evaluate data models and physical databases for variances and discrepancies.Analyze data-related system integration challenges and propose appropriate solutions.Develop data models according to company standards.Guide System Analysts, Engineers, Programmers and others on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.Review modifications to existing software to improve efficiency and performance.Examine new application design and recommend corrections if required.The ideal candidate:Has domain knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and specifically Pharma Development (Drug Safety, Product Submission, Clinical Trial, Clinical Data Management)Has an Agile mindset in the approach to work:Enables a diverse group of partners to speak with a single voiceEnsures the right information is available to the development team in the right level of detail at the right time so that the product can be developed.Exhibits intellectual curiosity and integrity and has strong passion to bring value-adding technology to the business.Has strong modelling experience with E/R modelling and UML Modelling and Semantic ModelIs familiar with standard modelling tools ER/STUDIO, SPARXKnowledge of CDISC, HL7, BRIDG, OMOP and other Pharam industry models and standards
