Overview
- Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data/information modeling
- Strong logical and physical data modeling skills. Should have expert knowledge of conceptual, logical and physical data models including 3rd Normal Form and dimensional data modeling. Physical should include a good understanding of database views, indexing, table and index partitioning.
- Experience with implementation of physical data models in a Big Data / Hadoop data warehouse environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to understand business requirements
- Use of ERwin data modeling tool
- Ability to write SQL queries
- Data warehouse architecture concepts
- Ability to create and understand process and data flows
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in Healthcare Sales and Marketing
- Working knowledge of Oracle RDBMS and SQL Server
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT technologies
- SQL tuning techniques
