Databricks Data ModelerA client is searching for a Databricks Data Modeler to join their team. This resource will be a techno-functional resource with hands-on Databricks data modeling and data catalog experience who can help with:Exploration of Source Data in Systems of RecordDevelopment of Data Models for Bronze / Silver / Gold (Medallion Architecture) with some needs for data harmonizationExploration of Use Cases with ability to develop Gold Model to support them for Business IntelligenceExperience with Unity Catalog / Data CatalogAbility to explain designs to Data EngineersThis candidate will need to have around 10 years of experience within data-modeling and have hands-on experience supporting Databricks.
The role will focus on developing data models that can be turned over to data engineering. One challenge will be in understanding SOR (System of Record) data models with little documentation. As a Utility Industry company, experience with Utility Industry models would help.
