Senior Data ModelerResource must be in New England (Boston, MA; Merrimack, NH; or Smithfield, RI)We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Modeler to join our team. The primary focus of this position will be on claims and recordkeeping, specifically related to HSA fund management. The ideal candidate will be experienced in data modeling, possess strong analytical skills, and have a deep understanding of database design principles.
Additionally, the candidate must be a self-starter and have excellent communication skills, as they will be working closely with business resources to gather requirements and translate them into logical and physical data models using PostgreSQL and Power Designer.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with business resources to gather requirements for data models for HSA fund managementDesign, develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models using PostgreSQL and Power DesignerEnsure data models are optimized for performance and meet business requirementsCreate and maintain data dictionaries and other documentation to support data modelsWork closely with the development team to implement data models and integrate with APIsWalkthrough data models with the development team to ensure understandingParticipate in testing and quality assurance efforts to ensure data models are functioning properlyDevelop and maintain documentation related to data models and their integration with business processesEnsure that the data models are in line with industry best practices and standardsQualifications:At least 10 - 15 years of relevant data modeling experienceStrong communication skills and the ability to work closely with business resources to gather requirementsExpert knowledge of database design principles and best practicesExperience with Power DesignerFamiliarity with APIs and their integration with data modelsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
