These include food and shelter programs, support for unhoused individuals living with mental illness, and a wide range of educational, cultural, and recreational programs for children and adults.DescriptionThe purpose of this position is to co-lead in the development, management, and strategic use of data systems and dashboards to support organizational performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.
This role serves as a critical bridge between data operations and strategic decision-making, ensuring that accurate, timely, and actionable insights are available to leadership and program teams. The salary offer will be based on the candidate's number of years experience in the exact or comparable position and additional preferred qualifications will be taken into account.Roles, Responsibilities and Essential DutiesKey ResponsibilitiesData Dashboard Development and ManagementDevelop and customize automation tools and dashboards to streamline data collection and transformation to enable the tracking of key metrics related to program performance, compliance, and service qualityEducate program and organizational teams on monthly data collection methods, validation techniques, and uploading processes to ensure accurate and timely updates to the organizational dashboard.Conduct statistical analyses using data from our Dashboard System, applying appropriate techniques to generate ongoing reports that support decision-making for organizational leaders and stakeholdersCollaborate with executive and senior leadership to prioritize business information needs and requirements, to ensure alignment with strategic goalsCollaborate closely with the Senior Director of PII to prioritize strategic initiatives, ensure improvements align with agency goals and objectives, and identify training needs to support successful implementationProvide support and respond to general troubleshooting inquiries related to hardware, software and training issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruptionPursue ongoing training and certification updates to stay current with emerging techniques, standards, and best practices in the fieldRisk Management and ComplianceCollaborate with program teams to review data in efforts to conduct internal audits to assess compliance with government mandates and regulatory standardsTrack and analyze incident reports across the agency to identify trends, provide resources, and recommend solutions to prevent recurrenceRegularly monitor and stay informed on new, revised, and existing regulations, protocols, and administrative guidelines to support the development and refinement of internal performance indicatorsQualifications and Education RequirementsBachelor's Degree (Required) Preferred fields include Social Work, Public Policy, Political Science, Nonprofit Management, or a related discipline.Certifications (Highly Preferred)Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)Tableau DesktopMicrosoft CertifiedGoogle Data Analytics Professional CertificateCertified Information Management Professional (CIMP)Required Technical SkillsDemonstrated experience in implementing automation and integrating data systems to enhance operational efficiency.Working knowledge of front-end web design principles, including proficiency in CSS.Skilled in using data platforms such as Tableau, JotForm, Microsoft Forms, Google Sheets, Looker Studio, and Excel for data visualization and analysis.Skills, Knowledge and AbilitiesBuild and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organizationDeliver engaging presentations and facilitate effective meetings with diverse audiencesDemonstrate high emotional intelligence and cultural competence in all interactionsSupport staff in identifying, collecting, tracking, and communicating data-driven outcomesWithin scope of responsibility, lead and contribute to special projects and initiatives as assignedPhysical RequirementsFrequent use of computers and digital tools.Occasional lifting of files and storage boxes.Work EnvironmentOffice setting.Hybrid/Flexible schedule available after probationary period.We are committed to building an inclusive workplace community grounded in respect for differences.
