Supporting the VHA Specialty Care Program Office, the full-time Data Management and Analytics Support Specialist will extract, analyze, and interpret complex healthcare data from various VHA systems to inform strategic decision-making and enhance operational efficiency for Veterans' care. Key responsibilities Access and extract data from VHA enterprise systems to support programmatic reporting and analysis Develop advanced models and algorithms to identify data patterns for decision-making and trend forecasting Create clear data visualizations and present analytical findings to program managers and senior stakeholders Required qualifications Minimum of 8 years of experience in data management or analytics, preferably in healthcare or federal programs Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Health Informatics, Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health, or related field; Master's Degree preferred Hands-on knowledge of VHA enterprise systems including CDW, VistA, and others Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Personal Identity Verification (PIV) credential and comply with VA security requirements Proficiency in developing advanced data models and presenting insights to non-technical audiences
